Bio

Liz Ragland is a Baltimore-based yoga teacher. She received her 200-hour hatha yoga teacher certification on August 7, 2016 from the highly respected Charm City Yoga program under Kim Manfredi, Camille Moses-Allen, Allison Korycki, Sarah Cook, and other experienced teachers.

Liz provides a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative environment in which students can cultivate self-love and authenticity while building strength and flexibility. Liz's style empowers students to nurture their spirits and connect with their bodies through a challenging but enjoyable practice.  Liz creates fun, unique classes, injecting a vibrant physical practice with her modern, authentic take on yogic philosophy. Forever a student, she infuses each class with inspiration from a variety of sources.

Liz has a background in French studies and studio art. She stumbled into Charm City Yoga in 2014 seeking community during a transitional phase and hasn't been able to stay away since! Yoga helped her find confidence, physical and mental flexibility, emotional resilience, and an inspiring network of teachers and peers. After personally experiencing yoga's transformational effects, she resolved to share these benefits with the world.

When Liz isn't teaching or practicing yoga, she loves to fuss over her beagle, read, discover new music, write letters, and doodle.

Liz created this website in January 2016 to document her progress in her personal practice, reflect on her teacher training journey, and to offer resources to her students. She hopes to share ideas, inspiration, and humor with her students, friends, family and readers through this platform.
